Painting Render Crash

Work asked me to contribute a piece of art for our reception. I decided to hack an old replica painting from Spitalfields Market, London (an old flea market on Thursdays).  I built a motor using one of those kits you can get from good electronic stores, painted acrylic on canvas and cut out a spinning beach ball of death glued to mounting board.

I work for Lost Boys, an Interactive Agency, so I thought it was apt: a relatively new problem in an old setting.

Berlin Panorama

I shot this atop the Fernsehturm (Television Tower) in Alexanderplatz, Berlin. The Fernsehturm is the fourth tallest freestanding structure in Europe, after Moscow's Ostankino Tower, the Kiev TV Tower and the Riga Radio and TV Tower. Shot at a height of 207.53 metres (681 ft)

Birthday

So it's that time of year again when both Ian and my birthday fall a day after each other.  This year we decided that age and responsibility has finally caught up with us, and so we sat down to plan a civilised affair.

Dining out is a civilised activity, Sunday is a civilised day and 2pm is a civilised time.  Perfect, except for one small problem: Ian is a staunch vegetarian, and l love meat.  Do you have any idea how hard it is to find an accessible eatery that cooks an awesome meat and veggie roast?  Well after a little email too-ing and fro-ing, tapping up foodie contacts and interweb research we do.

Join us, Sunday 18th October 2009 and celebrate me getting my meat and Ian getting his veg.

Your pain is my responsibilty

Prof. Sahib sounds amazing.  He's so awesome he doesn't need mess around with anything as trivial as punctuation, and he knew I was going to post this even before I did.

Spotted by my creative partner Dan.

Badger

Liked the home-made badge set up of the guy who served Ian and I over at the Crown & Goose this weekend.  Turns out he's a stylist by trade - which makes sense.

Had a nice lunch too.

Blue or Green

Blue Or Green by The Rosebery Band
(download)

Here's a more recent one.  I think I wrote it around two years ago about a girl who's eyes change colour depending on what mood she's in.  It's only a demo version and I've never gotten round to finishing it.
