Origami Tea Bags

Some people spend hours making stop motion origami deer from teabag wrappers. Others, like Nathalia take ideas even further.  She's designed a teabag using the principles of origami. While the tea infuses the bird or the shape gradually expands.

Washington graphic designer's studio

"I designed my office to be as unobtrusive as possible, to be an uncluttered work space, a guest house that keeps 'em coming back, and an inspired meditation room. It has a green roof so when we see the structure from the house it fits into the forest."

The Nine Eyes of Google Street View

The Nine Eyes of Google Street View is a photographic essay illustrating the screengrab collection of Jon Rafman. They capture a world that he feels to be "more truthful and more transparent because of the weight accorded to external reality, the perception of a neutral, unbiased recording, and even the vastness of the project."

Which is art speak for a nice idea curating some wonderfully candid moments of humanity.

New Blood a winner in September IAB Showcase

We’ve won first runner up in September’s IAB creative showcase for D&AD New Blood. It’s gratifying because the work is quite polarising, so it’s nice to see it get recognised by a panel of industry creative directors.

It was a tough month to be in.  AMV/BBDO won the overall prize with A Different Ending.  As Jeremy Garder succinctly put it "The 'choose which route next' concept may already be a well-worn path with the Army, but this stuff carries it off with such aplomb that it's scary."

Tiny bicycle-towed house is self-sufficient

Don't plan on settling down with a partner, children or even bringing someone back 'for coffee' in this house.

Leave Me Alone

Such a cute digital/physical idea based simply on on/off. One for the next Troika book perhaps?

It’s taken from an old idea “The Most Beautiful Machine” by Claude Shannon. Considered the founding father of the electronic communication age.

Light sensor

I've been procrastinating on this for a while now, but soon (procrastination paradox?) i'm going to get my head around Arduino and build me a thing with the stuff. If i made this light sensor stylophone like Jabstarr i'd be sure to start knocking out some Mercury Rev style anthems.
