An ephemeral cardboard installation.  The artist has been working on the installation since 2001, refining and building upon it in stunning detail. Puts me in mind of the Outsider Artist and postman Ferdinand Cheval, who spent 33 years of his life building Le Palais Idéal.

Human Needs/Human Wants

I'm sure it's the rose-tinted filter, but this short almost makes me pine for providing human needs, rather than human wants. But fuck that. After getting up at 5:30 am a couple of days on the trott; picking, cleaning, sorting, then lugging heavy veg into town, i'd be ready to jump into the tractor and head back to the city.

Sometimes he gets called up for a little bit of jury service too. He's paid his dues with D&AD, IAB Creative Showcase and London International.

Occasionally he gets asked to do a bit of public speaking. But to be frank, he's not so keen on that.
