Jeff Altman is an aspiring feature film colorist, amateur photographer, and overall OK person. This footage features his grandfather; both behind and in front of the camera.
"It was edited by hand some 50 years ago by my grandfather shortly after shooting it. Judging by the 3 minute length, I would say its safe to assume you're seeing all the footage he shot. 100 foot rolls of 16mm are of about 3 minutes in length. The order of the shots were probably changed, as well as removal of flash frames and other junk."
Developed in the last 12 months by Siemens and Munich multimedia artist Michael Pendry, the Christmas Star puts out the eco-lighting equivalent of 20,000 candelas. Pendry convinced both Siemens and the Stadtwerke München (Munich City Utilities) to let him install this art piece on one of the utilities’ wind turbines. Each 30 meter blade holds 3,000 LED lights and when it rotates, the blades turn into a dazzling display of light.
Getting married next month and dressing like a gent is high on the agenda.

My soon to be father in-law Associate Professor David K McKenzie would love this. One of his many talents is an uncanny ability to replicate the engine sounds of WWII planes.
"Dont piddle about with cartoon planes on an iPhone screen. Get out in the real world with the iPhone Pilot WW2 fighter plane, and attack anything from the deserving to the completely innocent - celebrities, yappy dogs, snowmen..."
